Ingredients
- 14-16 lb whole turkey, thawed
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat the slow cooker to HIGH.
Mix maple syrup, butter, soy sauce, garlic, and thyme.
Place turkey in slow cooker breast-side up.
Season turkey with salt and pepper.
Baste turkey with maple mixture every hour.
Add chicken broth to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
Check internal temperature reaching 165°F before serving.
