Ingredients

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cups cooked rice, warmed
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Lime wedges to serve
Instructions
Set Instant Pot to sauté mode
Heat oil until shimmering
Add onion, cook two minutes
Stir in garlic and ginger
Add ground beef, brown and crumble
Drain excess fat if needed
Mix soy, hoisin, chili, vinegar
Pour sauce into pot, stir well
Seal and cook high pressure six minutes
Quick release pressure, open lid carefully
Stir in brown sugar and carrots
Serve over rice, top green onions
Sprinkle sesame seeds and squeeze lime
