Ingredients
- 1 pound lamb shoulder, diced
- 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and shredded
- 8 ounces macaroni pasta
- 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps, and cook until the mixture thickens.
Stir in the onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add half of the white cheddar and all of the parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted.
In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, diced lamb, and lobster meat. Pour the cheese sauce over and mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
