Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 cups mixed greens (lettuce, spinach, etc.)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup diced cucumbers
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup burger sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard mix)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey) with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into small patties.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
While the patties are cooking, prepare the salad base by mixing the greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, pickles, and onion in a large bowl.
Once the patties are cooked, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice them into bite-sized pieces.
Serve by placing a generous amount of the salad in bowls, topped with sliced patties and drizzled with burger sauce.
