Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Heat oil in pan and sauté onion until translucent.
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Transfer onion and garlic to slow cooker.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth, basil, and oregano.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook on LOW 4 hours or HIGH 2 hours.
Stir in heavy cream before serving.
Serve garnished with fresh basil.
