Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1.5 cups)
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth
Whisk together eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl
Add wet ingredients to the bread maker pan
Add mashed bananas to the bread maker pan
In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt
Add dry ingredients to the bread maker pan
If using nuts, add them to the fruit/nut dispenser (or add when the machine beeps)
Select 'Sweet Bread' cycle, medium crust color, and 1.5 lb loaf size
Start the bread maker and let it complete its cycle (approximately 70 minutes)
Once complete, remove pan from bread maker and let cool for 10 minutes
Remove bread from pan and cool completely on wire rack before slicing
