Ingredients

  • 12 Babybel cheese rounds, wax removed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup regular breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Remove wax coating from all Babybel cheese rounds and pat dry

Set up breading station with three bowls flour in first beaten eggs in second breadcrumb mixture in third

In third bowl mix panko regular breadcrumbs parmesan Italian seasoning garlic powder paprika salt and pepper

Roll each cheese round in flour coating all sides and shaking off excess

Dip in beaten egg letting excess drip off

Press firmly into breadcrumb mixture coating completely

Dip back in egg then breadcrumbs again for double coating

Place on parchment-lined baking sheet

Freeze for minimum 2 hours or overnight for best results

Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes

Spray frozen cheese rounds generously with cooking spray

Arrange in single layer in basket not touching

Cook at 375°F for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy

Let cool 2 minutes before serving cheese will be very hot
