Ingrédients

  • 6 slices bread white, whole wheat, or sourdough
  • 6 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard optional
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Toast the Bread

  • Toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.

Prepare the Spread

  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using).

Assemble the Sandwich

  • Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  • Place a layer of lettuce on the first slice of toast, followed by sliced turkey and tomato.
  • Add a second slice of toast and repeat the layering.
  • Top with the third slice of toast and press down gently.

Slice and Serve

  • Secure the sandwich with toothpicks and slice it into halves or quarters.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
