Ingrédients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional mix-ins: mini chocolate chips, blueberries, chopped strawberries

Instructions

Prepare the Batter

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in desired mix-ins like chocolate chips or fruit.

Bake and Serve

  • Spoon batter into mini muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool slightly before serving. Great warm with syrup or packed for on-the-go!
