Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick bread such as brioche or sourdough
  • 2 eggs large

Instructions

Prepare the Custard

Soak the Bread

  • Dip each bread slice into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are evenly coated but not soggy.

Cook the French Toast

  • Heat butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  • Place soaked bread slices onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Serve
