Ingrédients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract optional

Instructions

Prepare Dough:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract (if using).
  • Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until fully combined.

Bake:

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
