Ingrédients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 can peach slices (15 oz) with juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar optional, for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Batter

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the melted butter into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.

Assemble the Cobbler

  • Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
  • Spoon peaches and juice evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and optional brown sugar for added flavor.

Bake and Serve

  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Delicious warm with vanilla ice cream.
