Ingrédients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Mix the Batter

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line or grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, yogurt, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.

Bake and Serve

  • Scoop batter evenly into muffin cups. Bake 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool 5 minutes in the tin, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
