Equipment

  • Mixing bowl For combining ingredients
  • Saucepan For melting marshmallows and butter
  • Spatula For spreading the mixture
  • Cutting board For slicing the candy sushi
  • Rolling Pin For flattening the mixture (optional)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 fruit roll-ups assorted colors
  • 12 gummy worms
  • 6 licorice sticks cut into smaller pieces

Instructions

Make the Crispy Rice Base

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and marshmallows, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and quickly mix in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

Assemble the Sushi Rolls

  • Lay a sheet of fruit roll-up flat on a cutting board.
  • Spread a thin layer of the crispy rice mixture over the fruit roll-up, pressing gently to flatten.
  • Place gummy worms or licorice sticks in a line near one edge.
  • Carefully roll up the fruit roll-up tightly around the candy filling.

Slice and Serve

  • Use a sharp knife to slice the roll into 1-inch sushi pieces.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy this fun candy sushi treat!
