Ingrédients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions

Prepare the Batter

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, mashed banana, and sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

Bake

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.

Cool and Serve

  • Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
