- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and sear for about 7-8 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes, then remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, and stir in dried thyme and oregano. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning sauce over them, and let simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes until cooked through.
